Balls

The Hild Bede Ball Committee plan two balls a year. This includes a Winter Ball that takes place in Michaelmas term and a Summer Ball that takes place during Easter Term. The Ball Committee is chaired by the Ball Officer and applications for the committee take place at the beginning of the academic year. All years are welcome to join the committee and we are always looking for new and fresh ideas.

Hild Bede Balls are external and included in your ticket price is transport to the event, a drinks reception, a 3 course meal, entertainment, students bands and even tribute acts. At Hild Bede’s Summer Ball, there is also the additional feature of theme park rides as well as a ‘survivors element’, which includes extra food and ents, a silent disco, and a survivor’s breakfast!
