MENTAL HEALTH
Talking Changes
Talking Changes is a local psychological therapy service, to which you can self-refer. It is useful if you are looking for more than the time-limited counselling that the University Counselling Service can provide.

Samaritans
The Samaritans are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
You can contact them by telephone 116 123 or email jo@samaritans.org.
If you believe you are in crisis
We recommend you contact your GP surgery in the first instance, or out-of-hours NHS support 111. Your GP can provide urgent medical/psychiatric attention or referral.

If the situation is life-threatening
Go to A&E or if you are unable to do this, call 999 for an ambulance.
