The Hild Bede Law Society is a new society ... aimed at both Law and non-Law students to improve their understanding of the law sector and future career paths it has to offer.

We are the HBAABBC soc, Durham’s only and longest running Alcohol Appreciation/ Bedo Bar Crawl society affiliated exclusively with the College of St Hild and St Bede.

We can often be found training in the Vern enjoying a couple drinks in a chilled atmosphere.

The 1898 Society, Hild Bede's Feminist Society, proudly celebrates our college's history as home to the first female graduates of Durham University.

Hild Bede LGBTQ+ Society is a college group which promotes awareness of LGBTQ+ issues ... We are a society open to all and we are so proud to have an executive committee of people from across the sexuaulity spectrum.

In Mafia Soc, we sometimes get together to play Mafia, a game similar to Town of Salem, Werewolf, or Among Us.

The ancient folk dancing Tradition of England, Morris Dancing, is a colourful and exciting activity for all people of all genders and nationalities to get involved in. We dance at college bars and pubs around the City of Durham and are currently the only (known to us at least) University Morris Dancing Team in the world.
