Bede Film Society
As one of the 3 licensed cinemas in the city of Durham, run completely by students, Bede Film Society shows a range of different movies every few weeks, and is the cheapest cinema in the city! Originally situated in Caedmon Hall at Hild Bede, showing brand new films on its cinema projector, Bede Film Society now temporarily runs in the SU Building, showing cult classics and fan favourites, whilst Hild Bede undergoes changes to its site. Boasting a history of over 60 years, Bede Film Soc is one of the most popular Societies in college, and one of the most popular Film Societies in Durham, being older than Hild Bede itself!
